More about me
Hi there — thanks for checking out my portfolio! I'm (probably) in my third year of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo — unless it's the future and I’ve forgotten to update this. I started my academic journey by studying mathematical olympiads and earned a silver medal in the National Mathematics Olympiad. Ever since, I’ve been passionate about anything that involves deep, challenging math.
Since coming to Waterloo, I’ve explored a variety of areas in software engineering. Most recently, I worked as a Compiler Engineer at Huawei, where I built an automated software cache compiler pass — reducing memory usage with minimal performance loss.
These days, everything seems to be about AI, and I’ve been involved in it as well. I got started at Silverberry, a small but amazing healthcare startup where we explored early cutting-edge AI technologies to support diabetic patients. We were super lucky to publish a paper on the challenges we faced — feel free to check it out!
On the research side, I’m currently working as an undergraduate research assistant with Dr. Frea Shi. We're analyzing how visual language models understand natural language by diving deep into their attention maps.
I also worked at Questrade Financial Group as a Software Engineer, where I automated parts of their MLOps pipeline and helped reduce inference costs through smarter management and access control.
But enough about me — I’d love to hear about you and what you’re working on. Feel free to connect with me via email or LinkedIn!
